Miguel Angel Hichez is a 2017 OF with a 6-2 184 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, NC who attends Santo Domingo. Large, athletic frame with present strength proportioned well throughout frame, shows quick-twitch muscle in actions. Ran a 6.89 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, high energy charging in on the ball, fields the ball out front and works through it well with lower half, quick arm through the back, gets on top and shows solid present arm strength and carry with big time accuracy to throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Uses a leg lift trigger for timing and does a nice job of getting foot down, direct barrel path to the ball with extension out front. Creates leverage at point of contact and shows nice carry off the barrel, line drive contact for most part but shows strength, high finish through the ball. Named to World Showcase Top Prospect List.
