Cannon Jones is a 2024 2B/SS/OF with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Douglas, GA who attends Coffee County. Short compact build. 7.56 runner in the sixty, was aggressive on the bases. Primary second baseman on defense, comes to the ball quickly and aggressively and has good footwork working through the ball, has good quickness in his hands and gets rid of the ball quickly, enough arm strength for second base. Right handed hitter, has a simple and repeatable swing with a very quiet load and good hand set, middle of the field high contact approach, stays short and is very consistent in his approach. Has an idea how to play the game and plays hard. Excellent student.
