Evan Hendrick is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Kell. Large frame with long limbs and broad shoulders. Ran an 8.23 second 60 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, starts his delivery with a side rocker step up to a belt high leg lift, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, good tempo to his delivery and stays in pretty good direction to the plate but will close off slightly at landing, will improve strike zone ability when getting out over his front side consistently. Fastball topped out at 79 mph creating a good downhill plane to the pitch, does slow up on his breaking ball that features 11-5 shape, fading changeup, solid strikes and things to project upon. Secondary third baseman, worked out in the infield funnels well and works through the ball, actions play at third along with the carry of his throws. Right-handed hitter, well-timed at the plate getting the hands going to the baseball, meets it out in front staying on a line drive swing plane through the hitting zone, middle to pull approach.
