Richard White is a 2018 C/RHP with a 6-3 197 lb. frame from Lincoln, DE who attends Cape Henlopen. Large frame with strong, well-proportioned present physicality; projects as well. Ran 40 yard dash in 5.21 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance with high hands and back elbow; shifts well into contact and shows quality hand speed onto line drive swing plane. Good strength in swing, drove the ball into the air at times with good jump off the barrel, did a good job staying committed to the middle of the field and working to all fields depending on location of the pitch. Worked out defensively behind the plate; stays down in low set with good flexibility in hips, stands up to throw and gains ground out well, compact arm stroke with good quickness, showed solid arm strength on throwdowns, clocked up to 75 MPH and popped as low as 2.08 seconds. Good student.
