Christopher Robinson is a 2023 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Calhoun City, MS who attends Eupora. Medium and athletic frame with room to fill and time to do so. Ran an 8.16 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, works through a quick rocker step up to a belt high leg lift to begin his delivery, lands online down the mound, takes his arm back to a compact arm action, flashes some quickness to his arm that projects nicely as he continues to mature on the mound, works down the mound well with some drive off the backside. Fastball is straight and topped out at 71 mph, mixed in a short frisbee slider in the mid-60s, filled up the strike zone with the two pitch arsenal inducing soft contact throughout his outing. Secondary outfielder, works low to the baseball in the outfield fielding it out in front, releases from an over the top arm slot, could utilize additional momentum into throws for added arm strength, topped out at 68 mph from the outfield. Lefthanded hitter, begins his swing carrying his hands low into the hitting zone, shows a rotational swing with a flat bat path to the point of contact, can drift onto front side at times, worked to the pull side primarily during his round of batting practice.
