Lane Wilson is a 2020 1B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Boyd, TX who attends Boyd HS. Recorded a 7.98 60-yard dash. Medium frame with room throughout the build to gain additional strength. Primary first baseman who throws from a long arm action with developing arm strength across. Methodical actions with athletic potential to play in the outfield as well. Clean glove with the ability to pick short hops and stretch well. High hand set and high back elbow at the plate. Active hands during the load with natural loft to the swing path. Double toe tap trigger as a timing mechanism. Pull side approach with the ability to impact the ball well to that side of the field. Great student.
