Thomas Wrehe is a 2020 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Southlake Carroll HS. Large frame with broad shoulders and some strength throughout build. Primary third baseman, funnels out front with soft hands. Flashed good lateral range while moving for the baseball. Worked through exchange quickly and displayed solid arm strength across the infield at 81 miles per hour. Switch hitter with a spread, balanced stance. Creates coil at load and moves into contact well. Flashed good strength at contact with employing a gap to gap approach. Also pitched showing a high energy delivery. Created some coil over back leg at gather and utilized lower half well while driving to the plate. Clean arm action with fastball offering, created some run with sink in the low to mid 80's, topped at 85 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with good spin and depth in the low 70's. Also flashed a changeup offering that generated some sink in the upper 70's. Displayed good feel for all three pitches and consistently changed speeds. Good student as well.
