Scott Allen is a 2020 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Northside. Large and lanky frame, lean with room to fill. Lefthanded pitcher only, pitches exclusively from the stretch, balanced delivery with some lower half drive down the mound, could potentially unlock more velocity with additional lower half drive, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to an extended high 3/4 arm slot at release, attacks hitters and has tempo to his operation. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with armside run, mixes in a 1-to-7 curveball with best bit coming from staying on top at release, breaking ball flashes late biting action, fastball and curveball were both effective when down in the strike zone.
