Jonathan Barber is a 2020 MIF/RHP with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Chesapeake Beach, MD who attends Northern HS. Younger look with plenty of room on the frame to fill out. Recorded a 5.43 40-yard dash. Primary middle infielder who is pretty light on his feet with short, quick steps toward the ball. Showed off some range with accuracy on throws and the arm strength is still developing. The arm action is short through the back and as he adds strength to his frame the arm strength should increase as well. Swings with intent at the plate and flashed the ability to drive the ball with the barrel of the bat. Coils inward during the load and shifts weight well through the point of contact. Sound hitting tools that should only get better as he continues to develop. Good student.
