Steven Milam is a 2023 SS with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Las Cruces, NM who attends Centennial. Compact and young frame, athletic with room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.21 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with advanced hands and a very clean funnel, athleticism to his actions with clean footwork and efficient steps to the baseball, arm strength is advanced as well topping out at 84 mph across the diamond, showed the ability to throw with arm strength from multiple arm angles. Switch hitter, graded out slightly better from the left side, easy swing starting with a leg lift trigger, good barrel skills with intent to his path, pull side approach, narrower base from the right side with a similar easy swing, barrel feel with looseness to his hands, balanced and an on-time trigger. Named to 2019 14U National Top Prospect List. Selected for the 2019 14U PG Select Festival.
