Nilen Peoples is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Fresno, CA who attends Bullard HS. Nice athletic build for a sophomore, has some present strength. Left handed hitter, spread stance, big leg lift trigger, rotational upper body swing, swings hard with a high finish, very unusual back foot ankle pronation at end of his swing, effort level and uphill swing plane effect balance and consistency of contact, has the raw bat speed to improve with adjustments. 7.32 runner, moves well in the outfield, can also improve his balance and body angle for more arm strength on his throws. Also pitched, works from the stretch in a slow paced delivery, long arm action ending in a mid 3/4's release. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, gets lots of running and sinking life, tends to get under his curveball at release. Good student.
