Brady Hinkle is a 2018 C with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Puyallup, WA who attends Puyallup HS. Medium build, plenty of room to get stronger. Spread high set up behind the plate, can get lower, has good hands and receives the ball well, makes accurate throws from a short release, 2.19 best pop time. Right handed hitter, simple mechanics with a good front side coil, limited wasted motion, gets the barrel into the zone and on time and centers the ball up consistently, hard contact gap to gap, very sound hitting approach that he executes well, swung the bat well both in games and in BP, projects as a hitter as he gets stronger. Showed good hustle and energy on the bases. Good student.
