Jonah Lonzo is a 2020 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Martin Luther King HS. Big young build with square shoulders and plenty of physical projection. Left handed hitter, good direction to contact, long and loose swing with a downward path to contact, hits to all fields with strongest contact being to the opposite field, has some hand quickness and waiting for the hand strength to develop. Compact arm action on defense, spins well to make his throws and makes accurate throws, has a good young idea on fundamentals and footwork. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot, stays tall on his back side with a long and loose arm action. Mid-70's fastball, mostly straight, commands his fastball well. Developing breaking ball consistency but has a feel for throwing it for strikes. Good student.
