Christopher Fleckstein is a 2020 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 174 lb. frame from Torrance, CA who attends South Torrance HS. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Works from the stretch with a multi-part delivery that he repeats well, high leg lift start, has some deception. Consistent low 80's fastball, topped out at 82 mph, gets big arm side running life on his fastball at times, commands the pitch well. Curveball is a nasty pitch, very legit offering that will get next level hitters out, has feel for shaping and changing speeds between 66 and 71 mph, harder curveballs are very tight with a snapping bite, throws it for strikes at will. Used about a 50/50 mix of fastballs and curveballs and predictably dominated. Left handed hitter, hits from an upright slightly open stance, long and loose swing with some strength at contact, showed he could drive the ball to left centerfield. 7.48 runner. Named to the National Underclass West Top Prospect List.
