Evan Coad is a 2022 2B/SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Sierra Madre, CA who attends Pasadena. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, has a simple and repeatable swing approach at the plate, short stride with a basic load, slight uppercut in his swing and shows some bat speed and pull side power potential, got the ball in the air consistently and flashed jump off the barrel. 7.23 runner in the sixty. Has athletic actions in the middle infield on defense, good footwork puts him in position to use his hands well, quick and balanced movements, compact arm action that enables him to get rid of the ball quickly. Very good student.
