Tyler Renfro is a 2020 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Conroe HS. Recorded a 7.78 second 60-yard dash time. Broad shoulders with a medium frame and some strength present on the build. Primary righthanded pitcher with impressive arm speed and a short, clean, and repeatable arm stroke. High three-quarters arm slot and gets slight running action on the fastball that topped out at 83 mph. Competes within the zone and on the inner half. Good feel for spin and projects to be an out pitch. Tunnels the curveball nicely from the fastball arm slot. Can throw the breaking ball in any count and has confidence in it. Secondary infielder with arm strength that plays at a corner. Deliberate to both sides with some balance. Only hit in game with an inside out approach, narrow stance with high hands, and a compact contact oriented stroke. Good student.
