Ryan Davenport is a 2019 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Driftwood, TX who attends Dripping Springs HS. Recorded a 7.22 60-yard dash. Slender and athletic build with plenty of room on the frame to add physicality. Primary second baseman with soft, quick hands. Shorter arm action in the infield with solid footwork and a good first step to the ball. Loose arm on the mound and threw from a higher three-quarter arm slot through a small arm circle. Quick tempo to his delivery and lands online. Controlled the fastball to the lower third of the strike zone. Two-pitch mix with a curveball that showed 10/4 shape and had solid down action. High hand set and a slightly open stance from the plate. Created leverage in the swing and has a good approach. Consistent line drive contact to the pull side with an inside hand path. Great student.
