Ryan Sieder is a 2019 MIF/RHP, OF with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Plainfield, IL who attends Plainfield South. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; good projection remaining on frame. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.44 seconds. Switch hitter, sets up to hit from left side with leg lift trigger and some tilt to swing plane. Line drive approach, hands stay inside the ball well with good balance throughout. Leg lift trigger again from right side, shows slightly better bat speed and feel for the barrel from right side. some loft to swing plane, made solid contact out front with intent. Worked out defensively in the infield, shows good hands at the ball with clean glove actions, shows quality transfer and quickened release across the diamond, clocked up to 59 MPH on throws. Pitched as well, rotational delivery with online landing. Throws from three quarters arm slot, threw consistent strike with fastball that sat 62-65 MPH. Was able to get to both sides of the plate effectively with the pitch. Very good student.
