Ben Snapp is a 2019 C/IF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Richmond, KY who attends Madison Central HS. Slender young athletic build, plenty of room and time to get bigger. Has very good quickness behind the plate with good footwork for his age, very quick release on throws that he repeats well, makes accurate throws with developing arm strength, 2.00 best pop time, also plays infield but future is behind the plate. Right handed hitter, upright even stance, simple load and shift, loose swing with a level line drive swing plane, works the middle of the field with a high contact line drive approach and good barrel control. A fundamentally sound player who will keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student.
