Noah Skeen is a 2020 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-0 194 lb. frame from Florence, SC who attends West Florence High School. Very young player with a medium frame, strong build, and room to continue to add strength. Primary right handed pitcher, started in the middle of the rubber, side step start, leg raise past belt, short, compact arm action, closed landing, and threw from an extended three quarter arm slot. Limited effort with a landing on an athletic front leg. Working downhill and showed finish through the ball. Fastball worked 73-76/77 mph with true action. Showed a curveball with 10/4 shape at 66 mph with short break. Needs to work on keeping the ball lower in the zone. Secondary first basemen, funnels to field, longer release, accurate feeds, and developing arm strength. At the plate, closed stance, medium hand set, deep hand load, and a quick leg lift timing mechanism. Developing bat speed with a longer path to the ball. Generating carry off the barrel with limited leverage with best contact coming pull side and up the middle.
