Jordan Jackson is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Topeka, KS who attends Washburn Rural HS. Big and strong physical build, especially strong lower half. Extended over the top arm action, works from the far first base side of the rubber, hitters don't seem to see his pitches well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight with good downhill angle, worked the strike zone aggressively with his fastball and was ahead in counts. Threw both a curveball and a slider, fundamentally the same pitch with different velocities, landed them for strikes well also. Right handed hitter, narrow open stance, gets his top half coiled, has some strength at contact and showed barrel skills, uses his strength with the bat. Very good student.
