Jacob Jackson is a 2018 RHP/ with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Brentwood, CA who attends Heritage HS. Medium frame, lean build, room to continue to put on additional muscle as he further matures physically. Posted 7.27 second sixty yard dash. On the mound, stays directional to the plate with a high tempo paced to his delivery. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot with short arm action and good arm quickness. Fastball has arm side run, curveball showed 11/5 shape with big break, projects to have even more velocity as he continues to add strength. From the infield, looks to be quick to the baseball with footwork, solid arm strength on throws across. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a slightly open stance. Uses a middle of the field approach and consistently finds the barrel. Swings on a level swing plane with a good hand path to the baseball, stays in the zone, good weight transfer to the baseball.
