Kush Tewari is a 2018 RHP/ with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Lafayette, CO who attends Fairview HS. The primary pitcher has a medium frame with a lean build that has room to fill. On the mound displays a smooth delivery with a high leg lift, hands raise with leg lift and separate at the chest, long arm swing gains speed to 3/4 release point. Short stride to the plate with direction towards the left handed batters box. Attacked hitters with fastballs early in the count. Used the four seam fastball to both sides of the plate and reached up to 78mph. Curveball has tight spin with 11/5 arc at 70mph and the change up was up 72mph with good depth. Maintains arm speed on both off speed pitches. On the infield he fields in a good position and threw accurately to the bag. At the plate he has an active barrel and holds the hands high above the shoulder. Starts the swing with a big leg lift and looks to pull the ball with developing strength and approach. Outstanding student.
