Connor Boyer is a 2020 3B/RHP, IF with a 5-11 178 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra, FL who attends The Bolles School. Recorded a 7.91 second 60-yard dash time. Medium overall frame with room to fill. Primary third baseman with good fundamentals and deliberate actions. Fields with two hands out in front and has developing arm strength recorded up to 75 mph across. Secondary righthanded pitcher who graded out best on the mound. Simple side step into a medium leg lift. Stays balanced at the gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Shorter stride out in front with a quick arm circle at take back. Three-quarter arm slot and fastball shows slight downhill tilt. Curveball showed solid spin and 11/5 shape. Flashed a straight changeup with similar arm speed. Works quickly on the mound and filled the strike zone while challenging hitters. Righthanded hitter with a spread, open stance. Rotational lower half with a lower hand set. Uphill swing plane and tilts shoulders at contact. Looks to life the ball to the pull side. Sharp contact to the pull side. Tremendous student.
