Devon Bovinett is a 2019 3B/RHP with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from Caseyville, IL who attends Collinsville HS. Recorded a 7.68 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with present strength to the build and is very physical. Primary third baseman with soft hands and currently developing arm strength. Third base actions who could see an improvement with regards to consistent footwork. Righthanded hitter with an upright open stance. Linear lower half weight shift through extension and shifts well and consistently. Loose, extended path to contact on a slightly lifted swing plane. Swings with intent and showed very good bat speed with strength through the point of contact. Lots of leverage to the pull side and likes to create separation and life the ball. Hands are in a good position to launch the ball with a power approach. Good raw power to the profile. Outstanding student.
