Andy Poole is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Trussville, AL who attends Bessemer Academy. Medium and young frame with room to fill on the build. Ran a 6.90 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, mechanics play working through baseball with a high crow hop into release, long transfer with a long arm action into throws as well, shows some arm quickness into throws, topped out at 83 mph from the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts his delivery with a turn step up to a high leg lift, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, uses a short stride down the mound with a slightly closed front toe at landing, fastball topped out at 77 mph with flashes of sinking action at times, mixes in a 12-6 curveball as well. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an even base, stays compact with his hands as they work into the swing, loads up with a coil as he takes his hand back into a good hitting position, will improve with better timing as he utilizes a line drive swing plane to the baseball.
