Garrett Render is a 2019 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends East Coweta HS. Medium and athletic frame with plenty of projection still remaining. Ran a 7.08 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, deliberate actions to the baseball, comes through the baseball with developing footwork and arm strength, will improve with proper refinement to lower half as he releases, topped out at 75 mph from the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher, low effort delivery beginning with a high leg kick and a hip turn as he comes down the mound, takes arm back to a compact arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, stays online to the plate getting out over his front foot, fastball topped out at 74 mph with cutting action to every pitch, curveball has 12-to-6 shape, missed bats consistently during outing inducing weak contact. Righthanded hitter, takes a small stride into contact after a back tap load used for timing, downhill swing plane with an upper half dominant swing, will improve pop with improved involvement of his lower half to his stroke.
