Justin Griffith is a 2019 IF/ with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Arbor View. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.78 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright, open-based stance with toe tap trigger. Draws hands back into load, loose path through the zone with his hands, gets on line drive swing plane and stays committed to the middle of the field. Shows good ability to get the head out on time; worked to all fields and will drive the ball more as he gains strength. Worked out in the infield, showed athletic footwork with clean funneling actions out front with his hands. Fields cleanly and gets off quick release, arm clocked up to 78 mph across the diamond. Pitched as well, showed good ability to get over front side and downhill, long arm stroke through the back, fastball worked 71-74 mph with good control. Good student.
