Magnus Orava is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Sagamore Beach, MA who attends Dennis-Yarmouth Reg. Large frame with strong, physical present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.31 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based stance, leans back into load and shows smaller leg lift trigger, moderate shift into contact with lower half, shows ability to get on plane. Drives the ball into the air when on time, very strong at contact, showed solid power to pull side. Comes in on ball in the outfield and stops momentum to field out front with two hands, shows ability to stay balanced, arm strength clocked up to 80 mph on accurate throws. Also pitched, compact arm stroke hiding the ball well through the back, easy effort delivery, throws from high three quarters slot and repeats delivery well. Fastball worked 74-78 mph with solid plane; worked in curveball with 11/5 shape and quality depth. Very good student.
