Kyle Mahady is a 2020 RHP/3B/SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Nazareth, PA who attends Nazareth Area HS. Medium athletic build with wide shoulders, some present strength with plenty of room to get stronger. Simple mechanics on the mound with good lower half use, repeats his mechanics well and is a strike thrower. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets good arm side run and sink. Change up is his best pitch, throws it confidently on all counts and gets swing and misses. Sweeping curveball in the mid 60's. Has three pitches he throws for strikes. 7.62 runner, has athletic actions in the infield defensively, stays balance with good footwork, surrounds and works through the ball well, makes very accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight leg stance, limited lower half shift into contact, rotational upper body swing, keeps his swing short with some hand quickness. Solid all around athlete who should keep improving. Good student.
