Adrian Villagomez is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Hawthorne, CA who attends Verbum Dei. Medium frame with solid, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.55 seconds. Primary pitcher, higher take back through arm stroke, compact arm action, fastball worked 80-83 mph, good deception, has good feel for slider, tightness with slurvy action, pounded the strike zone with both pitches and missed bats. Hits from wrapped start, upper half-dominated swing, slashing plane at times, pull-middle field approach, open upright set. Worked out in the outfield, comes in and bends at waist, solid transfer and arm strength, clocked up to 85 mph on throws. Very good student.
