Jackson Alexander is a 2018 IF/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Littleton, CO who attends Mullen HS. Medium frame with athletic, slender build and good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.49 seconds. Sets up to hit from tall, upright stance with high hand set and high back elbow, shows good plate coverage with the barrel through his swing, wants to use both gaps, rotational in torso creating bat speed. Worked out in the infield, choppy short steps to the ball, funnels well into hands, transfers well and gets off throws across up to 70 MPH. Pitched as well, Short stride online to slightly closed landing, longer arm action to 3/4 slot, throws strikes consistently, fastball worked 64-67 MPH, showed CB as well with sweeping shape in the upper-50's.
