Patrick McGlon is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B, SS, OF with a 6-3 183 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a high waist with long limbs; lean and projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Takes longer strides moving towards the ball in the infield, loose actions and shows some range going up the middle, loose arm action on throws across diamond, shows accuracy and can drop slot with intent; stays compact through the back. Also pitched, quick look on the mound, very simple delivery with leg lift up to belt and gathers on backside. Similar short and compact arm action, creates plane to fastball when on top and topped out at 80 mph, lands slightly open with strike foot down the mound. Righthanded hitter, begins with an upright and narrow stance in the box, utilizes a gliding leg lift trigger for timing moving into contact. Full swing path through the zone, keeps hands inside the ball with a linear stroke. Can continue to create more extension with upper body at contact, worked the middle and opposite parts of the field. Good student.
