Jason Hamm is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Spring Hill, TN who attends Summit HS. Lean young athletic build. Has good tempo to his delivery on the mound with a full arm circle and a 3/4's arm slot, can get down the mound better and utilize his lower half more, solid overall mechanics that he repeats well for his age. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, some cutting action at times, worked his fastball to his glove side against right handed hitters with maturity. Very consistent slot on his breaking balls to his fastball creates deception and works off his fastball well, curveball had good 11/5 break and shape, will shorten up on his curveball at times for more of a slider look. Right handed hitter, leg tuck trigger with a consistent shift into contact, repeats his timing and mechanics well, works the middle of the field well with consistent barrel. Good fundamental young player who will keep improving as he gets stronger and more physically mature. Good student.
