Beau Rottmann is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Tappan, NY who attends Dwight-Englewood. Tall and lean build with lots of room to get stronger. High hand delivery with a high leg raise delivery, extended 3/4's arm slot, gets down the mound well with his lower half and gets some extension out front. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with some arm side running action, was able to get his fastball to his glove side well. Slider showed good two-plane break when he kept on top of it. Change up was a solid third pitch he could use more often. Strike thrower with an idea how to pitch who should keep improving as he gets stronger. Left handed hitter, starts from a wrapped barrel start, uses his lower half well and is able to create some barrel whip, swings with intent and can barrel up the ball, mid field to pull side approach. 7.29 runner in the sixty. Good student.
