Peter Dufau is a 2019 OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Camarillo, CA who attends Adolfo Camarillo HS. Extra-large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill throughout. Excellent runner with fast-twitch, ran a 6.58 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes longer strides moving towards the ball, fields it to side and works into a short and compact arm action with a tight release, ball comes out well with low effort release, remains upright through release, keeps throws low and shows carry on throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow; strides wider with leg lift trigger and occasionally gets mistimed. Stays short to the ball and creates leverage out front while showing strength to hands. Repeats swing and shows best strength to pull side, hits the ball out front and swings with intent, has tools to project upon moving forward. Very good student. Named to West Coast Top Prospect List.
