Ryan Lopes is a 2022 RHP/ with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Somerset, MA who attends Somerset. The primary pitcher has a lean and athletic frame and he ran a 8.08 in the sixty yard dash. The right-hander worked exclusively from the stretch. Ryan has a high leg lift and stays tall throughout, short arm stroke on the back with his hand hiding the ball behind his body well, creating deception. He releases from a 3/4 slot that he repeated well on both his fastball and curveball. The curveball shows 11/5 shape with bigger break. The secondary infielder stays behind the ball well with a balanced and methodical approach through the ball. Keeps his feet under him while throwing and was pretty accurate to the bases. The right-handed hitter has an early leg lift shifting all weight to the back side with a deep hand load. He attacks out front with his hands and looks to hit balls to the pull side.
