Brady Holloway is a 2021 1B/LHP with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Proctor, AR who attends Evangelical Christian. Stocky build with present strength. Ran a 7.93 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary first baseman. Showed clean glove work utilizing low out font funnels. Displayed good footwork working to and through the baseball as well as clean footwork working off the base towards second base turning double plays from the first base position. Showed clean transfers into throws with developing arm strength topping out at 71 MPH across the infield. Left handed hitter. Employs a slightly open stance with a leg lift trigger and clean hand load. Displayed a longer bat path with a lifted plane through the zone looking to drive the ball to the pull side. Showed the ability to get the barrel out front with good bat speed and strength at contact creating some loud pull side contact including a couple home runs during batting practice. Also pitched at the event. Employs a small side step into a belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and staying online through finish with good balance throughout the delivery. Flashed a longer arm action with looseness in the back going to an extended three-quarter slot at release. Showed a fastball with running life back to the arm side up to 76 MPH complemented with a 1/7 curveball with good depth thrown for consistent strikes at 67 MPH. Excellent student.
