Tucker Nunnikhoven is a 2018 OF with a 6-0 156 lb. frame from Oskaloosa, IA who attends Oskaloosa HS. Large frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 7.13 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder with smooth, aggressive footwork while closing to the baseball. Clean glove actions while working through the baseball with quick exchanges while working through transfer. Creates momentum to the bag with a small crow up. Releases from a high three-quarters arm slot topping at 75 mph. Throws produced some on line carry to the bag with accuracy. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and leg lift trigger. Lower half shows linear actions to contact creating some shift. Compact, direct hand path to contact with a naturally lifted plane through extension. Primarily work the middle of the field, but shows good bat speed with pop off the barrel with working to the pull side gap. Also pitching showing a simple, repeatable side step delivery while releasing from a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball sat in the upper 60's with occasional downward angel tot he plate, topped at 69 mph. Consistently filled the zone and challenged hitters.
