Alec Ackerman is a 2017 SS/C with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Chaparral HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, big stride in, hits on his front side, swings hard with a good downward swing path, creates back spin at contact, controls the barrel well and squares up, works pull to mid-field, has a good hitting approach he executes well and will improve as he gets stronger. 7.26 runner, has balanced actions on defense, long over the top arm action with limited back side use, second base arm strength. Good student.
