Charles Wallach is a 2018 OF/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Horace Mann High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.00 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed good footwork with accurate throws to the bag. Developing arm strength with a clean transfer and release. At the plate, started with an even stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and a toe tap timing mechanism. Inside-out swing path with a short to the ball approach. Shows the start of weight shift with inconsistent timing. Will continue to improve with total lower half incorporation and additional strength.
