Brayden Glockzin is a 2018 C with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Sherwood Park, AB who attends Bev Facey Community HS. Medium frame with a strong, athletic build. Right handed hitter with a straight, balanced stance and high back elbow set. Hands load to a deeper position and launch to contact on a level, line drive plane. Shows good strength at contact with present bat speed when working to the middle of the field. Consistently squared contact with occasional jump when trigger was on time. Worked out defensively from behind the plate showing a quick, high exchange while working through transition. Gains ground well into throws and creates solid downhill action from an over top arm action. Throws create good carry to bag with accuracy, topped at 72 mph with a best workout pop time of 2.08. Good student as well.
