Jared Reister is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Poulsbo, WA who attends North Kitsap HS. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; good projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.20 seconds. Sets up to hit with high back elbow and bat wrap to start, even stance with good balance. Rotational swing with line drive swing plane, approach is up the middle or to the opposite field, showed solid strength off the barrel with more coming. Worked out defensively in the outfield, shows clean footwork with good speed to the ball, fields cleanly and shows quick/clean release with good arm strength, clocked up to 82 MPH. Pitched as well, throws from three quarters arm slot with solid arm flexibility, throws exclusively from the stretch, worked in the strike zone consistently with his fastball, ranging from 76-78 MPH. Repeats delivery well. Showed slider with solid tilting shape; also flashed changeup with good fading action. Threw three pitches for strikes. Very good student.
