Logan Ymker is a 2018 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-5 175 lb. frame from Sioux Falls, SD who attends Roosevelt. Large, tall frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a balanced, leg lift delivery. Stays balanced at gather and utilized lower half some while driving to the plate and carrying momentum through finish. Released from a high three-quarters slot and created good running action to arm side with a fastball that topped at 80 miles per hour. Flashed two breaking pitches with an 11/5 curveball that showed good spin with depth and a sharp sweeping slider with late tilt. Also flashed a changeup with solid, late sink. Consistently changed speeds with developing feel to each edge of the plate with all three pitches. Projects for additional velocity with continue physical maturity. Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly closed stance and large leg lift trigger. Creates good separation and load and launches to contact on a loose, extended path. Barrel works through the zone on a line drive plane through extension and primarily works to the middle of the field. Showed the present hand and barrel control through the zone to hit to all fields as well when on time. Outstanding student.
