George Briggs is a 2018 SS/2B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Pleasanton, CA who attends Amador Valley HS. Has a longer, lean build, with room to continue to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.18 second sixty yard dash. From the infield, showed solid actions with developing arm strength on throws across the infield. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a squared base and a higher hand set. Simple stride into swing with a good bat path on a line drive swing plane that produces a lot of middle of the field contact. Excellent student.
