Winston Davis is a 2017 3B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Bowie, MD who attends Bishop Mcnamara High School. Large frame with a lean, athletic build and lots of room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 6.95 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary third basemen, compact release, ball comes out easy with good lateral range. Changes arm slot with developing arm strength across the diamond. At the plate, starts with an open stance, high back elbow with an all fields approach. Swing primarily works through upper half, gets barrel through well with raw bat speed and occasional lift. Would see improvements with additional lower half incorporation. Also pitched, worked from a shorter arm action, drop and drive delivery from a three quarter arm slot. Fastball worked 74-77 mph around the plate well. Manipulated the shape of both 11/5 and 10/4 shaped curveball up to 66 mph.
