Myles Smits is a 2015 C/2B with a 6-0 187 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe Northwest HS. Medium frame with larger build, sign of present strength in body. From behind the plate, has quick clean transfers and solid receiving skills. Short arm action with developing arm strength on accurate throws down to second base. From the infield, fields the ball deep, has athletic actions and accuracy on throws. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a straight stance and some bat waggle. Stays on a line drive swing plane with a middle of the field approach. Swing stays simple and short to the baseball with quick hands. Showed feel for the barrel and stays inside the baseball.
