Nicholas O'Der is a 2019 OF/RHP, C, 1B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Ridgeway, VA who attends Magna Vista. Large frame with slender, athletic present build; projects extremely well physically. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.17 seconds. Sets up to hit with hands set high away from body, big leg kick timing mechanism, solid hand speed, gets bat on line drive plane and accelerates with good bat speed through zone. Projects well with hitting mechanics, will benefit from physical strength gains. Worked out defensively all over the field. Moved well to the ball in the OF, actions are easy and athletic, fields cleanly and shows clean arm stroke in throws, topped at 73 MPH. Fields cleanly in the infield as well, glove works to both forehand and backhand, comes through well and shows quick release up to 73 MPH. Athletic for 1B, pivots well, makes accurate throws to both 2B and 3B. Very good student.
