Nick Henn is a 2022 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Yardley, PA who attends Holy Ghost Prep. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean and projectable build, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 5.70 40-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front and repeats actions, works into a short arm action on throws, shows accuracy across the diamond; young actions in the outfield, short steps moving towards the ball, similar arm stroke and shows accuracy, arm strength will continue to develop. Also pitched, low effort delivery, long arm stroke working to a high three-quarters release point. Worked around the zone and pitched to contact, fastball topped out at 67 mph and mixed a 1-7 shaped curveball for strikes to keep hitters off balance. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box; utilizes a small leg lift trigger for timing. Contact oriented approach, shows quickness to hands and showed best contact to the middle of the field. Stays short to the ball with a linear path, can incorporate additional weight shift through lower half. Very good student.
