Owen Cobb is a 2019 SS/2B with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Garfield HS. Projectable athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Very light on his feet defensively, has smooth actions with good footwork and a quick and easy transfer, very polished defensively with his footwork and actions, second base arm strength. 6.52 runner. Right handed hitter, leg lift load, could get his foot down sooner, has quick hands and gets the barrel out front well, up the middle approach. Broke his right pinky finger a week prior to the event and was undoubtedly handicapped in his swing and bat speed. Athleticism really stands out. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Stanford.
